Emirates tend to dress in their traditional clothes influenced by their Islamic belief. Most men prefer the traditional dishdasha or khandura (a long white shirt-dress), with ghutra (a white headdress) and agal (a rope worn to keep the ghutra in place). The Emirati women tend to wear an abaya (a long black cloak), which is worn over conservative clothes, with a sheyla or hijab (a scarf used to wrap around the face and head).

The roots of Islam can be found deep-seeded into many areas of Emirate laws and policies. Drugs are strictly prohibited, even in extremely minute and un-usable quantities. Possession is punishable by serious jail time and deportation.

Alcohol is not forbidden in Dubai, as long as it is confined within an area like a hotel, bar or nightclub. Residents are free to drink in their own homes as long as they have an alcohol license issued by the municipality of Dubai. It is illegal to drink in the street or in public places. Pork is also available for the consumption of visitors and expatriates.

Being publicly intoxicated outside of these areas or having to be removed from these areas for public drunkenness and disturbance of the public can result in a fine, prison sentence, or deportation. Driving under the influence of alcohol is not tolerated at all, and is punishable by jailing and deportation. Lewd behavior and rudeness while driving can also lead to the same consequences.

Food is another popular aspect and also available most likely everywhere in the city. Due to globalization, there are many other countries' cuisine arrived into the city and also sales and consumption of pork is regulated and it can be sold to only non-Muslims in specific areas of markets and airports. As well as liquor, to purchase alcohol beverage require having a liquor permit but other than that, alcohols are available in bars and restaurants within hotels. Also hookah, Shisha, and coffee, qahwa are popular in Dubai. Nightlife is also representing its country. Most clubs and bars can be found only in hotels due to the liquor laws.

Literature and poetry also influenced by the UAE culture. Most themes in poetry from satire, chivalry,self-praise patriotism, religion, family and love. The Emirates Airline holds Festival of literature in Dubai and its purpose is share the knowledge by the art of expressing, writing and reading. It is a one of the largest celebration in the Middle East and this event aims for advancing education along with expression of enjoying and lead people to love reading and writing. The audience also gets chance to meet authors regardless of ages,nationalities and backgrounds.

The city draws large numbers of "shopping tourists" from countries within the region and from as far as Eastern Europe, Africa and the Indian subcontinent.

Dubai is the city which is famous among the world for man made beauty and Luxury as there are many Luxurious Hotels, Towers with amazing architecture which attracts tourist though out the world and make phenomenal place to visit.
