Culture and Religion of India
India is the only country on the globe with highest number of different culture and religion. Indian government provide freedom to people to follow their own culture and religion and even to celebrate their own religious festival. Lifestyle as well as out look( clothing) of people is different in every part of the country. People living in each and every states follow different Culture and Religion .
Majority of Indian population follow Hinduism. The reason of having multiple culture in India is its fascinating History, as different cultured people visited India for trading, travelling purpose and settled down in India impressed by its culture.
In earlier days, Ancient Indian culture was famous in the world. It was based on 4 vedas(Holy-Books) which teaches human values as well as moral values to people in their school days. Vedas are believed to be an oldest book written in Sanskrit language having story of Hindu god, prayers, rituals and poetry. In Hindu religion, it is believed that Brahma (Hindu God) created the mankind and gifted mankind by creating 4 vedas. It is believed that 4 vedas came out from 4 mouth of Lord Brahma.
4 vedas are as follows
The Rigvade, containing hymns to be recited by the hotar , or presiding priest
The Yajurveda, containing formulas to be recited by the advaryu or officiating priest
The Samavade, containing formulas to be sung by the udgatar or priest that chants
The Atharvaeda, a collection of spells and incantations, apotropaic charms and speculative hymns
But, after Independence from Britishers, ancient Indian culture is vanished and people started following western Culture. But still there are many beautiful Historical places in India which attracts tourist attraction across the world.

The Taj Mahal (Crown Palace) is India's most famous structure,
and, perhaps the most beautiful piece of architecture in the world. Photographs
cannot truly capture the grandeur of this perfectly proportioned tomb of Mumtaz
Mahal and its creator, Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal ruler.
Mumtaz Mahal was the second, and favorite, wife of Shah Jahan (r. 1628-1658). A Persian princess born as Arjuman Banu Begum, she was a significant influence in his life and in his policies. She died at age thirty-nine while giving birth to their fourteenth (some say thirteenth) child in 1631. The ruler went into deep mourning and much of his empire was compelled to do the same.
Almost immediately there was announced a competition for plans to construct a tomb and shrine worthy of the ruler's beloved. Numerous legends surround the selection of the architect--some even implausibly suggesting that it was a westerner from Italy or France. But although a number of names have been proposed, the architect's name is unknown. It is clear that talent from many parts of the Muslim and western worlds came together in Agra to work on the mausoleum: engineers, carvers, artists, calligraphers, architects, craftsmen of all sorts, and a variety of common laborers. It is estimated that 20,000 people worked on the tomb from 1631 to 1648. Work continued in the adjoining areas until 1653. It should be noted that the Taj Mahal is a total package of tomb, mosque, gardens, gateways and fountains.

K2 is the second-highest mountain on Earth, after Mount Everest. It is located on the border between Baltistan, in the Gilgit–Baltistan region of northern Pakistan, and the Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County of Xinjiang, China.
Location Of K2
Qutub Minar, also spelled Qutub or Qutab, is the tallest minar in India originally an ancient Islamic Monument, inscribed with Arabic inscriptions, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Qutab Minar is
a soaring, 73 m-high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak
immediately after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five
distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers from a 15 m
diameter at the base to just 2.5 m at the top.
The first three storeys are made
of red sandstone; the fourth and fifth storeys are of marble and sandstone. At
the foot of the tower is the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, the first mosque to be
built in India. An inscription over its eastern gate provocatively informs that
it was built with material obtained from demolishing '27 Hindu temples'. A 7
m-high iron pillar stands in the courtyard of the mosque. It is said that if
you can encircle it with your hands while standing with your back to it your
wish will be fulfilled.
The origins of Qutab Minar are shrouded in controversy. Some believe it was erected as a tower of victory to signify the beginning of the Muslim rule in India. Others say it served as a minaret to the muezzins to call the faithful to prayer.
