Majority of People in Singapore follow Buddhism and Taoist,along With that Islam , Hindu , Catholic , other Christian is followed in minority. Buddhism and Taoist religion is almost same their is minor different in both religion. As their are Different type of religion followed in Singapore,large number of Religious Festivals is celebrated in Singapore.

In Singapore , Buddhism is followed in majority,their are many temples(wats) in Singapore.The Chinese Mahayana Buddhism is the most popular form in the country. However, Thailand Buddhism (Theravada)is also followed by Theravada, Vajrayana and other small schools.

People migrated from India follow Hinduism, built temples and celebrate their religious Festivals.Most of the Malaya people migrated form Malaysia follow Islam as the born with Muslim. The Chinese, migrated to Singapore, brought own their beliefs, culture and ancient traditions. The Chinese predominantly follow Buddhism, Taoism, Shenism and Christianity.

Singapore have the abundance of temples, mosques and churches that provide a tourism opportunity to visitors to have keen experience of the healthy religious history through interesting heritage trails that span the world’s great religions.This adds places to visit Singapore.

Culture of Singapore is Highly influenced by its neighbouring country Malaysia and some influence of India,Thailand and China.Singapore is a multicultural country(Island), and close to one-quarter of its population are expatriates or foreign workers from all over the world.Lifestyle is also highly influenced by it culture and tradition.The country was originally divided into several ethnic areas such as Kampong Glam, Little India, and Chinatown.But Now, these divisions no longer exist but traces of each individual culture remain in specific areas of Singapore.

Singapore was ruled by British so,footprint of British culture is clearly seen in Singapore specially after world War II.
