Culture and Religion of India
India is the only country on the globe with highest number of different culture and religion. Indian government provide freedom to people to follow their own culture and religion and even to celebrate their own religious festival. Lifestyle as well as out look( clothing) of people is different in every part of the country. People living in each and every states follow different Culture and Religion .
Majority of Indian population follow Hinduism. The reason of having multiple culture in India is its fascinating History, as different cultured people visited India for trading, travelling purpose and settled down in India impressed by its culture.
In earlier days, Ancient Indian culture was famous in the world. It was based on 4 vedas(Holy-Books) which teaches human values as well as moral values to people in their school days. Vedas are believed to be an oldest book written in Sanskrit language having story of Hindu god, prayers,rituals and poetry. In Hindu religion, it is believed that Brahma (Hindu God) created the mankind and gifted mankind by creating 4 vedas. It is believed that 4 vedas came out from 4 mouth of Lord Brahma.
4 vedas are as follows
The Rigvade, containing hymns to be recited by the hotar , or presiding priest
The Yajurveda, containing formulas to be recited by the advaryu or officiating priest
The Samavade, containing formulas to be sung by the udgatar or priest that chants
The Atharvaeda, a collection of spells and incantations, apotropaic charms and speculative hymns
But, after Independence from Britishers, ancient Indian culture is vanished and people started following western Culture. But still there are many beautiful Historical places in India which attracts tourist attraction across the world.

Underwater is an Oceanarium located on the offshore Singaporean island of Sentosa. It was developed in 1991 and till today it has more than 2000 marine animals of round about 250 species from different regions of the world.It is one the most favourite place in Singapore for children and for elders up to some extend.
People visiting Singapore,always wish to visit the place. Generally people enjoy in aquarium which demonstrate marine life.
Ticket charges is affordable and it even includes Dolphin Lagoon.While visiting to Underwater world it becomes important to know the timings.It is open for public from 10:00 to 19:00 daily (Last admission at 18:30).

Hungry Ghost Festival
As Singapore is multi-cultured country (Island),along with Hungry ghost festival, there are many Interesting festivals celebrated in Singapore. This festival is celebrated according to lunar calendar, in the 7th month of lunar calendar, generally it falls in the month of August or in the month of September.It also falls at the same time as a full moon, the new season, the fall harvest, the peak of Buddhist monastic asceticism, the rebirth of ancestors, and the assembly of the local community.
According to the Taoist Chinese belief, the gates of hell is opened during this month and the spirits of the dead are released and allowed to roam the earth.
These ghosts are believed to be ancestors of those who forgot to pay tribute to them after they died, or those who were never given a proper ritual send-off.
Family members offer prayers to their deceased relatives, offer food and drink and burn hell bank notes and other forms of joss paper.
Hell money is a form of joss paper printed to resemble legal tender bank notes. This faux money has been in use since at least the late 19th century and possibly much earlier. Joss paper items are believed to have value in the afterlife,considered to be very similar in some aspects to the material world, People burn paper houses, cars, servants and televisions to please the ghosts

New year
1st January is celebrated as the new year according to the English calendar. Public Holiday is declared on this day, new year starts with the holiday to set new goals for the new year.
Chinese New Year

A Muslim festival Hari raya Aidilfitri is celebrated as per Islamic Calender, After 30 days of fasting during Ramadan, the first three days of Hari Raya Aidilfitri are celebrated on a grand scale.
River Hong Bao Festival
A Chinese festival which term “Hong Bao”, meaning red packet, is a monetary gift often associated with Chinese New Year.Which symbolize good luck, what better way to usher in the Chinese New Year than at the River Hongbao.
