Switzerland is divided into 26 cantons or 26 different areas and each cantons has it's own traditional costume and languages influenced by it's neighbouring countries such as Germany,Austria,Italy,France.Even difference in the religion play a vital role in celebration of different festivals, 57% of swiss population is Protestant, 41% is Catholic and 2% of other faiths.The festivals listed below are some of the most interesting Swiss celebrations that take place throughout the year in different cantons.
